Coffee
Coffee is one source of caffeine to many teenagers. According to the National Coffee Association (2007), 31 percent of youth consumed coffee in 2007 and is increasing. Even though coffee can give energy to its drinkers, it has side effects that are harmful to the body. These effects are mainly due to the caffeine in coffee. Coffee is safe in moderate amounts but teens should avoid coffee due to its negative effects.
